Ministry of the Word: The Lord Jesus Teaches His Disciples About Greatness In The Kingdom Of Heaven

1. The worldly understanding of greatness

  • When a man asked Jesus how we can be saved by our own doing, Jesus said he must follow all the commandments. When the man claimed he did, Jesus said he must give up his wordly possessions, put his faith in Jesus, and follow Him. But the man could not give up his worldy things.
  • We see in politics how people will spend millions of dollars, lie, scheme, and even cheat. For what? To get power.
  • Today we see everyone trying to force their viewpoints on others, and if you don't "get in line" you will be cancelled.

2. The heavenly understanding of greatness

  • We have to release our desires for earthly greatness.
