Ministry of the Word: Dead to the World, Alive to God in Christ
- We are called to be dead to the world so that we are alive to Christ.
- Any religion or spiritual movement that seeks to make you "alive" is focused on earthly things.
- What is your mind set on?
- Being alive in Christ means being cut off from worldly influences.
- Christ's glory is the mystery of the gospel that is preached to us. Being alive in Christ is acknowledging Christ's glory.
- THe more we seek after worldly things, the more Christ will disappear from our lives.
- God calls us to look up to heaven; to look to the life ahead that we have with Him.
