1. Because all authority is His

• Obey authorities as if that authority is from God Himself.
• Teachers, parents, leaders, babysitters, elders, all those who are given authority.
• To disobey those in authority is to disobey God.

2. Because He established it for our benefit

• Authority is God's design for the world, for out benefit.
• The way that we treat those in authority gives glory to God.
