Ministry of the Word: "This is from the LORD!" God continues to fulfil his promises of blessing to Abraham
- When God directs our lives, we can see His will. When we are going on our own path, it is usually also clear that we are not following God's will.
- Abraham and Sarah seemed to face many challenges to fulfilling the covenant God made with them. First they were unable to have a child, and now they are not able to find a wife for Isaac.
- Abraham sends his servant to look for a wife for Isaac. His servant prays for a miracle, looking for hospitality and kindness at the well. God answers his prayer immediately.
- What is really remarkable about this story? Couldn't it just be a bunch of coincidences? The truth is that this story is part of God's covenant promise.
