Ministry of the Word: Let the little children come to me!
- Children have a very important role in the church.
- At the time of Jesus children were not seen as being very important. Jesus preached that we must all be like little children. He called them the greatest.
- In catechism classes we learn about the sacrements; is baptism for children? Yes!
- God's promises are for children as much as for adults; even though the children might not understand the promises - perhaps even though adults might not as well!
- God works in the hearts of children; His spirit is in all of us.
- God's blessings, and Jesus' sacrifice is for all of us.
