- Speech is one of our most wonderful gifts from God.
- The 9th commandment calls us to no longer live as non-believers.
- What This Forbids
- We are reminded what a "powerful weapon" our tongues can be. We must never give false testimony.
- Gossips tell so many lies that eventually they cannot tell truth from lies.
- What This Urges
- There are times when we must speak the truth about God's word.
- Leviticus teaches us that silence can be a crime when you have evidence to provide but you do not speak up. We must defend the wrongfully accused.
